KRISTINE'S GRAND DEBUT
How time flies! Parang kailan lang nu’ng nagsisimula pa lang sa
mundo ng showbiz ang magandang young star na walang iba kundi si
KRISTINE HERMOSA, heto’t she’s now eighteen years old and ready to
face life ahead. The memorable event was held at the Manila Polo Club
last September 9, 2001.
During the event, the debutante wore two of Randy Ortiz creation, one
while welcoming guests which is the white gown kung saan p arang snow
white ang kanyang kagandahan at yu ng aqua blue gown which she wore
during the traditional 18 roses and candles.

Naging malapit sina Tintin at Lucy sa isa’t isa nu’ng nagkasama
sila sa sitcom na Richard Loves Lucy at little sister daw talaga ang
turing ni Lucy kay Tintin.
Naroon din ang mga taga-Talent Center na nangangalaga sa career ni
Tintin namely Dave Fabros, Chris Navarro. Eric John Salut at ilang
staff nito. At hindi mawawala ang kanyang handler na si Allan Real.
Naroon din ang ilang members ng movie press.
After the sumptuous dinner, nagsimula nang ipalabas sa isang malaking
video wall ang mga photos of young Knistine at ilang video clips ng
kanyang mga nagawang shows in the past. lpinalabas din ang footage ng
ginawang interview sa kanya ni CES DRILON for Pipol prior to her
debut. May cover story pa nga ang nasabing video clip na ito and it
was anchored by DINGDONG DANTES. Nagbigay ng inspiring words ang
kanyang Daddy Allan, Mommy Mai, eldest sister KATHLEEN at si Allan
Real. Among her co-stars who gave nice thoughts about her were Direk
Tnina Dayrit, Eula Valdez and Jericho Rosales.
After the video clippings were shown, Mr. Allan Onille, Tintin’s dad
gave his speech for his loving daughter and welcomed her to the real
world, with the promise that they would still be there to protect and
guide her no matter what.

Chnistophers, HAZEL ANN MENDOZA, Heart Evangelista, Dimples Romana,
ROSELLE NAVA, Jodi Sta. Maria, and her sisters Maxine Onille and
Kathleen Hermosa. ‘Yung ibang participants ay non-showbiz friends na
ng dalaga.
After the 18 candles, nagbigay ng speech ang mommy ng dalaga na si
Mommy Mai, thanking everyone for gracing the memorable event not only
for her daughter but for their entire family as well.
Then came the traditional dance and 18 roses. The first dance was
honored by her dad, Allan. And among her showbiz friends who were part
of the 18 roses were Paolo Contis, JOHN LLOYD CRUZ, BARON GEISLER,
Justin Cuyugan, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Matt Tomes, KRISTOPHER PERALTA,
Onemig Bondoc, John Prats, Patrick Garcia, Piolo Pascual, and Jericho
Rosales. Tulad ng sa 18 candles, may ilan din siyang non showbiz
friends who participated in the traditional cotillion de honor and 18
roses. Naroon din nu’ng gabing ‘yon ang buong pamilya nina
Knistine from her lola, cousins and family friends. At siyempre pa,
namataan din namin ang family ni Jericho sa isang table, kabilang ang
kanyang mommy at mga kapatid. Kilig di ba? First Circle band provided
music and entertainment. Pagkatapos ng lahat ng formalities, it was
time to party! It was a night of beautiful people and hopefully, the
friendship that binds Echo and Tintin will stay through the years.
Bakas sa mukha ng dalaga ang kasiyahan nu’ng gabing ‘yon at sa
bawat kilos niya’y naka-alalay naman si Jericho sa kanya.
Wala na nga kaming masabi upon kundi witnessing how a beautiful girl
was transformed into a stunning lady that she is today. That night,
the role of a debutante became her. *
