The youngest among the four contenders (she just turned 18 last are in Kristine’s hand mainly because of the full support given to her by ABS-CBN and Talent Center.
Kristine was first trained to do heavy act-ing with the miniseries Sa Sandaling
Kailangan Mo Ako. And since then, she seems to be like a “precious stone” treasured by her
mother studio that every move in her career is carefully planned.
No doubt that Kristine has one of the most beautiful (and refreshing) faces in the industry but can she act? The answer is yes as proven by her impressive acting in Pan gako So ‘Yo, the soap opera she stars opposite Jericho Rosales, especially in the sc~enes where she is
tormented by her contravidas (Jean Garcia and Vanessa del Bianco).
Probably because of the character, Yna, she plays in the said soap; the public regarded
her as the new “Cinderella” of Philippine television. From a young lass from the province
forced to work as a maid to a rising star model, Kristine was able to show the transition of her
character.
About the title and the competition: Yung title, nagpapasalamat ako. Pero nako-confuse ako, hindi ko alam kung deserving ba ako dahil maraming magagaling. Pero I guess, the title fits all of us.”
