THE BIGGEST TELESERYE IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN in Philippine television. Aside from the tact that it is definitely a one of a kind story which will once again capture the hearts of the Filipinos, a masterpiece by two of the country’s world-class directors Olive Lamasan and Rory Quintos.

Pangako Sa ‘Yo the teleserye features two of ABS7CBN’s newest pride.. KRISTINE HERMOSA and JERICHO ROSALES.

Tin-tin, as we all know got her acting noticed during her stint in the miniseries Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako. She proved herself well in, the series earning her more guestings on the networks top-rating shows.

Jericho on the other hand has been getting good feed-backs eversince he started acting onscreen. He’s considered as one of the most promising youngstar of his generation. He has what you call depth and gives justice to a certain role.

Together, Tin-tin and Echo will soon put the screen on fire as the newest ,pair to ever portray roles that will set them apart from their contemporaries. 

So how's their working relationship?

Jericho: We’re very comfortable as workingpartners. To the point na we treat each other as best friends already.

Kristine: So Munting Paraiso, du’n nag-start na makilala namin ang isa’t isa. Tapos marami pala kaming common interests then ‘yun no’ Nag-jive na.

You mean from the very start, nagkasundo na kayo?

Kristine: Actually, lately ko lang na-realize na mabait din pala siya (laughs). Well, before kasi I thought ungentleman siya. Astig kasi ang ang dating eh.

Jericho: Akala mo lang ‘yon. You found out na kabaligtaran pala, ‘di ba? Ikaw nga sobrang moody. Bata pa kasi eh.

Kristine: Ito mahilig mamikon. Pero siya rin sumpungin ‘yan.

Jericho: Ikaw malala. Napakasungit kaya mas masarap asarin.

Do you think there's possibility na magkatuluyan kayo?

Jericho: Tintin is very beautiful and who wouldn’t fall for her? Pero, ayaw naming i-entertain ang mga thoughts no ‘yan. We’re being professional.

Kristine: Besides, I think it’s better this way. Comfortable naman kami sa isa’t isa and just like what he has said, we’re the best of friends.

What can you say about the series, Pangako sa 'Yo?

Kristine: Sobrang thankful kami so A85-CBN for giving us this big break. Salamat sa pagtitiwala nila sa amin. Sa cast pa lang, bigatin na, lalo na ang directors. The story is something na you don’t see or hear everyday.

Jericho: We gave our best in this series dahil so maboking opportunity na ibinigay so amin ng Star Cinema. We’re very excited no maipalabas ito para kayo na rin mismo ang humusga kung gaano ito kaganda. Sa teasers pa lang, kita na ninyo kung gaano kaganda at kalaki ang production.

Can you say na you've already grown as an actor/actress?

Kristine: I can say na this series has helped me improve my acting. Magaling kasi ang mga ka-eksena ko at director kaya gaganahan kang galingan din.

Jericho: Direk Rory and Direk Olive gave us useful acting motivations. Very privileged ako to be handled by them.

What about the intrigues, do you think it has helped you in any way?

Jericho: Yah, it did. It has made me stronger and more mature. Natuto rin ako how to handle them. Biaang isang artista, hindi naman maiiwasan yon. Kung magpapaapekta naman ako, matagal na siguro akong nawala rito. Nobody’s perfect. Artista lang kami at tao nin. At times nagkakamali pero we too admit our mistakes. Ang hindi lang makita ng iba ay ‘yung magaganda naming nagagawa. Puro negatives lang.

Kristine: Intrigues are already part of our job. It’s either mogpapatabo ka o lalabanan mo. Sabi nga good or bad publicity is still publicity pero kung nakakasira naman ng pagkatao mo, hindi na tama ‘yon. I learned to depend on my capabilities. Also not to trust others agad kasi in this industry, hindi mo alam kung sino ang kakampi mo. Good thing
I have my family whom I con always turn to.

Your message to your fans.

Kristine: Salamat sa lahat ng suportang ibinibigay ninyo sa amin. Sana ay abangan ninyo ang Pangako So ‘Yo the teleserye. Siguradong magugustuthan ninyo ito.

Jericho: Huwag Sofia kayong magsawa sa pagsuporta sa amin. Maraming salamat sa pagtitiwala at pagmamahal ninyo. Naiibang istorya at pagganap ang makikita ninyo sa amin ni Tintin dito kaya huwag n’yo sanang palampasin.
